PURPOSE: To improve the rigidity against a moment load, and reduce the contact fluctuation of a ball and a ball rolling surface to improve the accuracy. ;CONSTITUTION: Ball rolling surfaces 14, 18 of a track base 12 and a bearing main frame 16 consist of a Gothic arch groove composed of two curved surfaces. Each curved surface 14a, 14b, 18a, 18b of the Gothic arch groove are located so that the direction of a normal at the time of applying a vertical load and a lateral load to a four-direction equivalent load guide 10 coincides with the load direction in outline.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
