PURPOSE: To accurately clock the movement of a kite between predetermined courses where deviated gates are placed by the movement of the kite by attaching the almost lower end part of an elongated rod to the almost upper end part of a support in a freely revolvable manner and providing the elastic means connected to the lower end part of the rod and the support in order to usually hold the rod to an erected state. ;CONSTITUTION: A vertical rod 12 is connected to a pipe 10 at the position of the part 14 adjacent to the upper end part thereof in a freely revolvable manner. A cord 30 is fastened to the lower end part 18 of the rod 12 and the outer end part of the rod 20 before nuts 26, 28 and the lower end part of the rod 12 is elastically connected to the pipe 10. Further, in order to improve the visual display of the revolution of the rod 12, a tray 74 is provided so as to be adjacent to the lower end part of the rod 12. When yarn of a kite comes into contact with the upper end part of the rod 12 and the rod 12 is clockwise moved up to a dotted-line position, a clock device 72 is operated for start or stop. By this constitution, the movement of the kite biased by the movement of the kite between predetermined courses where gates are placed can be accurately clocked.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO
