Device for connecting a movable lifting arm, such as a boom of a digger to amachine such as a demolition crusher. This device includes a ball-and-socketjoint construction with two opposing universal hinge components and flexiblepieces linked to the arm and the machine respectively, for forcing the twohinges into a relative central position but with a certain amount of give.One hinge includes a spherical element in a part ending with a circular edgeand the flexible pieces between the circular edge and the supporting surfaceof the other hinge are enclosed and under tension.
