METHOD FOR GROUP WINTERING BEE-QUEENS AND A BEE-HIVE FOR ITS MATERIALIZATION

The method and the hive are intended for hibernation of back-up queen bees for the bee family. They ensure optimum conditions for hibernation upon minimum expenditure of electricity and food, while the death rate is reduced to a minimum. Following the method, the queen bees are set in individual cells (20), which are arranged in a free hive or a body, located above hives or bodies (1), populated by strong bee families with queen bees. The bees are directed to the queen bees through a magnetic field, created by flat bobbins (18) to feed them, while in the first two or three days, they don't have that opportunity. The upper body (3) with the queen bees is separated from the remaining bodies (1) through a heat-exchanging board (4) and is covered atop with a cover board (5). All bodies (1 and 3) are placed on a foundation (2) with a condenser (14) and are covered atop and laterally with a thermo-insulational lid (6), in whose bottom part there is a sun collector (8). The walls of the upper body, parallel to the honey combs (16), there are apertures, where lids (17) are placed with fitted to them flat bobbins (18). A vertical barrier (21) divides the bodies (1 and 3) into two parts, supplied with individual bee entries (10), while in each part are positioned an internal feeding trough (22) and a dust-collector (11).IMAGE
