Certain types of plants are grown in plant tubes which are stuck down in a plant pot. To facilitate a centered and correct mounting of such a tube the invention provides for a special, cheap production pot (24), which is designed with guiding portions (28) for receiving the lower end of the tube. When the plant is to be delivered from the truck garden the production pot (24) is placed in a conventional sales pot (32), which conceals the cheap appearance of the production pot. IMAGE
