The invention concerns a procedure for packing pulp goods in a large package, and a large package designed for pulp goods. The large package comprises an inner packing 11 and an outer packing 16,16a,16b,16c. The inner packing 11 is a sack of flexible material which, when being filled with pulp goods, is placed on the base 13, whereby the inner packing takes up the shape of a parallelopiped during the filling.
