The invention relates to a group of new 3,4-dehydropiperidine derivatives of the formula CHEM wherein R5 is a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having 1-3 carbon atoms; Y is a group of the general formula 2 CHEM wherein R6 is a group of the formula -(CH6)n-C(=X)-NR7R8, -(CH6)n-SO6-NR7R8, -(CH6)n-NR psi -C(=X)-R1/4 or -(CH6)n-NR psi -SO6-R1/4 , wherein R7, R8 and R psi independent of each other represent hydrogen or alkyl (1-3C), R1/4 is alkyl (1-3C), X represents O or S; n is 0-4, and R is hydrogen or alkyl (1-3C). These compounds have interesting serotonin-1-like (partial) agonistic activity and can be used for the treatment of migraine.
