The invention relates to a process and to a device for the production and maintenance of aseptic conditions in a storage facility for the storage of foodstuffs in a durable and prepared form and which are capable of being pumped, at least one storage reservoir being clean, sterile, filled with inert gas and filled under aseptic conditions with the product to be stored and emptied at least partially under aseptic conditions. So that it is possible to automate all these operations and, on the one hand, improve the service safety and, on the other hand, prevent any recontamination of the sterilized products to be stored, it is proposed, according to the present invention, that all the mass streams which are brought to each one of the storage reservoirs and the stored product which is to be accommodated in each one of the storage reservoirs be conveyed via at least one movable device which, on the one hand, is linked removably to supply conduits and fixed discharge conduits, and, on the other hand, to at least one storage reservoir, and that the movable devices have means for the measuring, control and regulation of the flows and of the pressure and for controlling the temperature as well as means for the sterilization of the masses passing through them.
