Aortic valvuloplasty (valvoplasty) ring for subsigmoid implantation and respective prosthetic method

Ring for limiting the separation capacity of the sigmoids, preventing aortic regurgitation. The said ring has the necessary flexibility to adapt itself to the base of the aortic cusps, and has a circular configuration with a fixed or variable diameter, a radiopaque material being introduced inside it for the purpose of locating it subsequently. The invention also relates to a prosthetic method for implanting the said ring using extracorporeal circulation, carrying out a suprasigmoid aortotomy, the ring being implanted by means of sutures so as to fix it to the sigmoids, enhancing the performance of the valve.
