METHOD OF FORMING AIR FLOW IN OUTLET SYSTEM OF A CENTRIFUGAL COMPRESSOR AND CENTRIFUGAL COMPRESSOR

A method of forming the air flow in the outlet system of a centrifugal compressor which provides for non-simultaneous departure of the flow from the blades of the working wheel along its thickness and for displacement, in the outlet system, from the circular direction of the flows departing from the blades with a time advance, in the direction of the flows fed with a time delay. A centrifugal compressor in which the trailing edges (10) of the blades (2) of the working wheel (1) are provided with depressions diminishing the rotation radii of these edges into the body of the blades, and the stationary elements (8) of the outlet system enter these depressions and have a form following the profile of the depressions.
