The filing unit according to the invention consists of a bent plate defining edges (2) and surfaces (3) comprising a backrest (3A), a seat (3B) forming an edge (2A) with the backrest (3A), a support surface (3C) and a face (3D) which connects the seat (3B) to the support surface (3C), forming with these latter an edge (2B) and an edge (2C) respectively.
