Device to regulate the supply to a rotating treatment component of a product which is brought to the said rotating component by a supply component operating continuously, the said rotating component being driven by a drive shaft via a transmission device and the said feed component being driven by a separate drive device, the said device including a threshold sensor which is sensitive to the value of the torque exerted on the rotating component and automatically triggers the stopping of the device driving the feed component when the torque reaches a predetermined value, characterised in that the transmission device (12) is mounted so that it can rotate about the axis (2) of the said rotating component, in that the threshold sensor comprises a sprung stop (36-38) blocking the rotation of the transmission device (12) when the rotating component is rotating, and a sensor (35) for detecting the moving of the transmission device (12) counter to the said sprung stop (36-38).
