It was shown that the expression of the gene product is restricted to platelets and megakaryocytes in the bone marrow. It has been demonstrated, in particular, the promoter of the platelet factor (4) (PF4) causes the targeting of gene expression on platelets, megakaryocytes of the bone marrow and in addition, the adrenal glands.
