Procedure and device for replacement of brick built sewers - old sewer demolishes and spoil removed and new concrete sewer lining introduced

The hydraulic tool (2) breaks up the old brick built sewer. The old masonry and surrounding spoil are removed by a conveyor (4) connection. The old sewer is simultaneously replaced by a two-part concrete walled circular liner (18). This is formed behind a shield which is of greater dia. than the old sewer. The tool assembly removes and replaces sewer pipe in one operation. USE - Replacement of old brick sewer with new concrete of slightly greater dia.
