Four-wheel machine constructed from two bicycles - has adaptors with sockets to receive cross-members to connect bicycles and front wheels connected to give synchronised steering
The four-wheel vehicle is constructed by fastening two bicycles together by means of cross-members. Adaptors (3) are fastened to the rear forks of each bicycle. These adaptors have sockets to receive claws attached to the ends of the cross-member (1.3). Adaptors (5) are also fitted to the frames at the points of attachment of the rear wheels and these adaptors receive the cross-member (1.1). The front forks of the two bicycles are connected by a parallelogram linkage so that steering of the two front wheels is synchronised. USE/ADVANTAGE - Four wheel vehicle constructed from two bicycles. The four-wheel machine is easily assembled and dismantled.
