The rotating disc (1) for a rotation disc reactor for the treatment of fluid media through micro organisms, has at least one surface (2) fitted with a bonded structure material (3) such as a woven, knitted fabric or a felting or layers. The open structure zones (4), open to one surface, are filled with an open-pore or porous material. Pref. the structure material (3) is made of durably fixed synthetic filament yarns, with the structure formed by mechanical heat shaping. The open strucutre zones (4) are filled with non-woven, woven, knitted or layered materials, or with particles, or by a foam with a fixed cell wall structure esp. foamed plastics such as a polyurethane foam. Two structured webs (3) are locked together by their structured shapes to form a bonded body to be filled with a foamed polyurethane. After the foam has hardened, the structured layers are peeled away from each other.
