The protective layer is made of plastics strips or plates. The underground section of the wall (2) has an external coating of bitumen (5) applied to it. This layer is made into a double layer with folds (8) laid on the top layer. The earth is filled in on top of the folds. Plastic foam and plastic foil laminate is used as materials. USE/ADVANTAGE - For water proofing of buildings. Reduces damage due to settlement of earth/gravel backfill.
