In washing heavily soiled washing, (a) a scouring salt contg. (i) a per-salt, (ii) a laminar silicate, and (iii) an enzyme, is used, with (b) a complete washing compsn., and (c) in water of hardness 2,3, and 4, a water softener. Pref. (a) the per-salt is Na percarbonate. The scouring salt contains 50-90 wt. % of Na percarbonate, 5-40% of laminar silicate, and 1-12% of enzyme (mixt.). (c) The water softener contains 5-95 wt. % of laminar silicate, 6-80% of Na Al silicate, and 3-25% of polymer. An environment-friendly washing compsn. contains (a),(b) and (c). ADVANTAGE - A min. amt. of the complete washing compsn. can be used to give high efficiency, reducing contamination of the environment.
