The mill has two conical rollers (19,20) mounted parallel to each other with a gap between the surfaces for the ground product to pass. In cross section the rollers are in the shape of a trapeze. The rollers are axially slidable against each other so the gap size can be altered. There is a knurl (46) in the centre area of either each roller surface or one roller has the knurl and the other is smooth. USE/ADVANTAGE - Grinding of cereals, particularly for crushing cereal flakes. Ability to vary the fineness of the ground product.
