The parallel input/output interface has connections to the control, data and address busses. The interface has a modification register (MRE), internal control logic (IS) and an address decoder (ADK). The data bus (DB) connects with I/O registers (E/A 1.1-2.2) that are arranged in two groups, each with 2 x 8 I/O slots. The internal connection also connectss with a control signal output-unit (USER). A further version provides an interface for a multibus coupling. ADVANTAGE - Provides external connection for control and testing.
