The head-board (1) consists of a main piece (2) and at least one vertical equalising surface (3) which is horizontally and laterally movably mounted on the same plane as the head-board. Two equalising surfaces on each side of the main piece can be moved in and out. An equally movable horizontal surface (5) is joined to the vertical equalising surface. Bedside tables (4) are joined to the equalising surfaces and are movably mounted. ADVANTAGE - The bed is easily adapted to its surrounding space.
