Draining mats comprise recycled plastics which are joined to each other in the form of 'wires'. Additional stability and a greater weight is achieved through compact spherical plastic plarts inserted into the lattice structure. The mats are covered wholly or in part with plastic needles or hooks which prevent a shifting of the parts. ADVANTAGE - The mats are partic. suited to waste dumps. The use of recycled plastics saves raw material and the hollow spaces are bigger than those in mineral materials. The mats are elastic and stable at the same time
