The method for adjusting the short-circuit torque for electric motor, i.e. servo motors, involves measuring the short circuit torque (MKi) of the motor, and then comparing the obtained value with a desired value (MKs), with a given relationship Mki = c.Iki-Mv existing between the short circuit torque (Mki) and the short circuit current (Iki); where c is a constant factor, and Mv is the torque loss of the electric motor.
