Measurement probe for determining small-scale electrical conductivity in flowing liquid - has wire-shaped electrodes embedded in insulation inside protective tube with flat, smooth inclined end surface
Measurement probe for determining small-scale electrical conductivity in flowing liquid - has wire-shaped electrodes embedded in insulation inside protective tube with flat, smooth inclined end surface
The measurement probe has electrodes whose free end surfaces form an electrode system suitable for conductivity measurement. The end surfaces of the electrodes, protective tube and insulation material form a smooth, flat surface. The end surface, on which the flow is incident, forms an acute angle of pref. 40 to 50 degrees with the longitudinal axis of the measurement probe. The tip is pref conical with the electrodes arranged in a row across the surface of a cut-away conic section. USE/ADVANTAGE - For high sensitivity measurements down to millimetre region with high noise immunity, e.g. in marine waters as freely sinking or cable-connected probe.
