Electronic start circuit for pulse counter - has only two flip=flops in basic design, except final flip=flop

The electronic start circuit prevents the first pulse incomplete effectiveness. The basic design, without the final flip-flop, has only two flip-flops (1, 2). Pref. an AND-circuit (4) is energised from first flip-flop (1) output. It is typically also energised from the negating circuit (6) output, or from the negated potential of the pulse line (F) respectively. Special designs may have two parallel flip-flops instead of the first flip-flop. USE - For pulse counters with short circuits.
