The travelling bag has an integrated briefcase which can be removed from a space between the two parts of the bag, each part fitted with its own handle both sides of the space. The space (24) should form a shaft which stands open to the top and has a bottom (18) and flexible endwalls (20) so as to take the briefcase (14) from the top with narrow clearance. Pref. the inside walls of the space have a waterproof surface and together with the bottom (18) are stiff or semi-stiff as against the bag parts (16) which have a soft exterior.
