The appts. comprises a rising tube and a falling tube linked by a transfer chamber which is part of a swim body. A pump sucks water from the rising tube, so that deep water is sucked in and delivered to a mixing unit whose outlet is lower than the rising tube, and an inlet lead for the appts. has its open end above the water surface. The mixing unit is within the rising tube. A motor-driven feed (70,72) is connected to the insertion system to force the medium together with a gas, under pressure, into the mixing unit. USE/ADVANTAGE - The appts. is to overcome stagnation effects, at inland and inshore waters through artificial aeration and/or to act on the phosphate and nitrate content. The action gives aeration and corrective action at lower levels of the water with an effective operation and intense mixture of the medium.
