The lacquering mechanism (3) can be used at choice for lacquering or for stamping, grooving and perforating. The periphery of the lacquering cylinder (5) is provided with a stamp plate (16) and the printing cylinder (4) with a counter stamp plate (17). Alternatively, the periphery of the lacquering cylinder is provided with a counter stamp plate and that of the printing cylinder and one or more stamp plates. On the lacquering cylinder (5) is pivotably lacquer application roller (6). Between the lacquering mechanism (3) and a printing mechanism is provided a guide drum which turns the sheet. USE/ADVANTAGE - To widen the scope of a sheet printing machine, so that stamping, grooving, perforating and lacquering functions are incorporated.
