The bonding comprises heating part of the thermoplastic on a hot roll under pressure and combining with the textile material by exerting pressure across the whole width. The thermoplastic may be pref. polypropylene or polyester constructional netting which has raised sections at the crossover points. The textile may be a non(woven), or knitted material. USE/ADVANTAGE - Textiles of lower m.pt. and lighter constructions may be used.
