An arrangement for an electromotor for driving a rotating body, especially a print cylinder of a printing machine, rotatably mounted on a wall. The body is adjustably movable along its axis of rotation and also at an angle to it and diagonally to it. The rotating body can be used in all printing machines, especially offset printers. The machine includes several printing cylinders (D1-D4). These are disposed so that they are rotatable in relation to the diagonal, side and circumferential register and are also adjustable in relation to each other (R,S,T,U,W) to form a paper feed. Each cylinder (D1-D4) is connected to an electromotor (F,G) to form a direct drive (E). ADVANTAGE - Enables control of the machine in a reliable manner using a simple construction. Enables loss-free coupling with maximum power in force of torque transmission between the cylinders and the machine walls via an electric motor. Provides high control dynamics for precise and constant control.
