Eliminating interference in colour value signals of multichannel generator - adding HF signal of appropriate amplitude lying outside video signal band to each colour value signal

The method removes interference in colour signals of multi-channel colour picture signal generators which give rise to different signal to noise ratios. A h.f. signal of a given amplitude, lying outside the video signal band, is added to each of the colour signals. Each video signal output (1,2,3) of the opto-electric converter is connected to one input of an adder (7,8,9) via a normalising circuit (4). The h.f. signal of given amplitude is applied to the other inputs of the adders (7,8,9). The adder outputs are fed to a non-linear video signal processor (6). This provides interference-free colour signal outputs via a low-pass filter (16). USE/ADVANTAGE - For, eg. picture recorder of colour TV camera or film scanner. Change in colour of picture signal to be re-produced is prevented.
