Thermal cladding for large pipe ducts - has incompressible insulating layer held onto pipe by outer cover with joints covered by secondary cladding

The insulating layer (2) is secured via an outer cover (6) and is attached to the pipe duct (1) by a profiled rail (14) running along the outside of the duct. A secondary cladding covers the rail and the inner cladding to eliminate thermal bridges. The cladding comprises mineral fibre mat or plates. The cladding joints are of a more elastic material. The cladding is applied to in situ pipelines using the outer covering to support the cladding. USE/ADVANTAGE - Round- or polygonal ducts of large diameters. No thermal bridges, no condensation points, simple to fit.
