The filter combination directs part of the filter-rinsing water immediately after the hose connection (19), into an upper channel (18) and out of an annular gap (20) along the internal walls of the fine filter (14) to a dirt trap (4). The remainder of the rinsing water follows another channel (22) outside the coarse filter (7) leading to an annular gap (23) at a lower level, from which it is slanted on to the more heavily contaminated cylindrical portion (13) of the fine filter wall. ADVANTAGE - Cleaning is intensified with no recontamination of crockery. Food residues cannot be recirculated, and the load on the pump is not aggravated by clogging of individual filter stages.
