The low-pressure discharge lamp can have two or more tubes, with a glow igniter(6) as the starter and a capacitor(4) for spark suppression. The discharge tube is connected tightly with the screw base(5) across a matching part made of insulating material. The threaded length of the screw base is less than the standard length and its base contact is lengthened by a detachable matching piece. The switching connections of the switching system are connected conducting with the contacts of the screw base(5). The igniter (6) and the capacitor(4) are accommodated inside the screw base of the lamp. Adapter version includes cap(8) and two-pin holder part(11). ADVANTAGE - Connection of discharge tube is facilitated at smallest possible distance from the screw base socket.
