The toy for producing very large soap bubbles consists of a rod (12) with a cap (11,14) fitted to each end and a ring which can slide along the rod. A length of braid (16,17) is fastened to the ring by a knot (15) and to one end of the rod (12). A bubble is formed by first sliding the ring (13) to the end (11) to the rod so that braid forms a compact mass. The braid is then dipped into a soapy solution and then withdrawn. The ring is then moved along the rod to the other end (14) and a bubble is formed with its edges attached to the braid. ADVANTAGE - Is simpler than the usual blowing bubbles by means of pipe.
