Bidirectional wireless transmission of data between computer and keyboard - transmitting electromagnetic waves between two separate mono directional transmission paths with common input and output

The bidirectional transmission between a keyboard (1) and a computer (2) is provided by a circuit with branch points (3,4) that locate between a pair of lines (5,6). In the transmit path of the keyboard is an inverter (7) coupled to an AND gate (8). A pair of inverters (20,21) connect to the output of the computer feedback line (6). A similar arrangement is used from the junction point (4) coupled to the computer output. The system transmission link (9,14) are of non wired type, e.g. optical. Information may be transmitted simultaneously in both directions. ADVANTAGE - Transmitter and receiver do not require substantial alteration from arrangement used for cable connection.
