The electric contact has a contact surface (4) opposite a counter-contact. This surface (4) has at least one convex curve. The top point (S) of the curve is offset from the middle (M) of the contact surface (4) by a predetermined amount (V). The curve may be made by a press die (5) which presses a curved stamp (6) against a base (7). ADVANTAGE - Improves electric properties of switch without greatly increasing mfg. costs.
