The housing (20) of plastics material is divided longitudinally into two halves (30) which extend each in one piece from the aperture end (22) to the pin surround, but are divided by radial slots in an intermediate circumferential region. A contact spring (40'') is formed from an approximately plane disc with a central hole and inner tongues pressed out of the plane. Outer tongues (48'') are formed by the ends of vanes projecting out of both halves of the housing and bent up from the plane of the disc. ADVANTAGE - Plug is easily and quickly fitted and exhibits high resistance to traction.
