The pump includes a housing (1) enclosing a magnetic yoke and magnetic coil (7). A pressure spring (19) axially shunts an armature (15). The armature is connected to a piston (23) having a through current valve. The piston is shunted inside a cylinder bush (11) with a suction valve (12) at the front, which causes the armature in its end position to close the transfer line tightly. The armature or cylinder space is then secured against the appliance of thermally caused pressure points. One of the armature and/or cylinder spaces has a very small bleed-off cross-section. ADVANTAGE - Removes operation impairing pressure points without requiring expensive over-pressure valve.
