Apparatus for connecting a cooling device to a support or transport roll supported in a bearing block (20) by roll bearings (21) which house the roll pin (11), consists of a cover (30) sealing the end of the bearing block which has a flow channel (31). The end (32) of the channel has an elastic socket (33) which is fixed at one end either to the pin (11) or the cover (30) and freely movable at the other which is provided with a seal (34). USE/ADVANTAGE - Esp. in concasting plants. Ensures good coolant sealing properties over a long service life.
