The shield sluice (6) has a sluice chamber (21) which accommodates the shield and is formed from a shield guide tube (9) with peripheral seal (24). It is formed as a longitudinal movable mobile assembly for travelling along the trench. It has its own travel mechanism, pref. of the roller or continuous track type. The shield guide tube can be raised and lowered on the travel mechanism (12) resting on the bottom of the trench (13). The shield guide tube is arranged on a lift table (10) which is raised or lowered on a substructure (11) resting on the trench bottom. USE - For deposit redevelopment work. Moves a drive shield into a start trench and also runs it into a target trench.
