The sluicing device comprises a rotatable sluicing cylinder (3) with outwardly opened chamber (5) arranged at a circumference for the reception of container, rotary distributors (13) equipped in the sluicing cylinder, a stationary sealing element (15) partially surrounding the sluicing cylinder. The rotary distributor is connected with the chamber and is evacuated or ventilated over the chamber. The sealing element is formed so that it obtains a sealing effect with the sluicing cylinder. A pressure drop is produced between the adjoining chambers. The sluicing device comprises a rotatable sluicing cylinder (3) with outwardly opened chamber (5) arranged at a circumference for the reception of container, rotary distributors (13) equipped in the sluicing cylinder, a stationary sealing element (15) partially surrounding the sluicing cylinder. The rotary distributor is connected with the chamber and is evacuated or ventilated over the chamber. The sealing element is formed so that it obtains a sealing effect with the sluicing cylinder. A pressure drop is produced between the adjoining chambers. The chambers are connected over a canal (9) with the rotary distributor and shutoff devices are intended with which the canals are locked independently from one another. The shutoff devices are driven with a lift curve. The rotary distributors are arranged concentric in each other and form jointly a differential pressure step, so that the pressure in the chamber decreases toward the vacuum treatment chamber. The sealing element is formed in the form of a cylinder mantle in which a left out segment is formed at the entrance side and a window is formed in the exit side. The sealing element is mounted on a side of the left out segment so that it is held by the rotation of the sluicing cylinder on tension. The sealing element is axially stiff and radially flexible and is mounted on an axially stiff and radially flexible carrier.
