The circuit is used for a drive with an operating voltage of above 60 V and uses redundant semiconductor switches (11...18) instead of mechanical switches, breaker switches and motor protection switches, controlled in dependence on monitored operating parameters. The semiconductor switches are suitable for an operating range between 60 and 1200 V and are mounted on a common circuit board with control and monitoring circuits using standard components. The circuit may be housed in the terminal box for the drive, or lie in the cooling air stream for the latter provided by a fan. ADVANTAGE - Provides built-in redundancy for reliable automatic shut-down of drive with compact relatively low-cost circuit.
