Fodder for pigs esp. young pigs contg. low content of fat - with small amt. of unsatd. fatty acids, preventing degeneration syndrome

A fodder for pigs contains less than 10 wt.% w.r.t. dry matter, of crude fat with the lowest possible content of multi-unsatd. acids. Pref the fodder contains, w.r.t. 1 kg of foller, at least 50 mg (100-300 mg) of vitamin E, at least 0.2 mg (0.4 mg) of Se, not more than 10 mg of Cu, and not more than 0.8-10 g of choline chloride. It also contains at least 0.7 wt.% of methionine/cystine, and is free from fumaric acid, growth promoters and butylhydroxytoluene. The basic raw protein is skimmed milk powder. USE - The fodder is esp. for young pigs.
