The longer leg of the bent spanner (5) has a flattened end (6). Between the flattened end and the full circular section of the spanner is a chamfered neck. The flattened end of the spanner is inserted in the slot formed by the notches of the aperture (4) in the connector piece. The connector piece engages the flat on one side and the chamfered neck on the other side, but cannot slide over the full section of the spanner. USE/ADVANTAGE - Used as a car jack ends in a fork.
