The blades (3,4) are diametrically opposite and rotate above a crescent blade in a casing, to move cuttings into a press chamber through an opening (5). A curved wiper basket (7,11) is located to one side of the rotor hub (2), which has horizontal inwardly projecting bars between which the rotor blades pass, and which keep open the inlet to the press chamber. The tips of the blades are splayed back. ADVANTAGE - The cuttings are wiped off the blades by the wiper and pushed into the press chamber.
