The effectiveness of the injection process is increased with the chemically delayed expression of the hydrophobic character of the injecting liquid. Supplementary horizontal sealing of building components, e.g. in walls reduces rising dampness for stone conservation and concrete rehabilitation. It allows greater drill hole spacing and a pulsing DC current can be used for optimum support of transport mechanism. ADVANTAGE - Injection process reliability is increased.
