Semi-circular, lightweight, concrete constructional component with natural stone appearance - uses prefab. column half-shell with natural stone strips packed by lightweight concrete

Concrete casting is used for the mfr. of a lightweight column component of glass globules bonded with cement. A prefab. column half-shell is packed with cart concrete. It has longitudinal natural stone strips and lightweight concrete backing. Two such column half-shells are then rounded on a lathe. Pref.the concrete backing contains steel reinforcing elements. By using different types of natural stone strips it is possible to obtain various ornaments and decorative effects. USE/ADVANTAGE - For shuttering for reinforced concrete elements, with versatile applicability and easy assembly.
