The wiper blade (3), in an alignment remaining continuously parallel to the mirror (2), is movable practically over the entire mirror (2). The wiper blade is connected to a spring loaded bracket (5), convex in unloaded state, pref. running arc shaped, across several uniformly spaced arc shaped holders (4). Both end regions of the spring bracket (5) are fixed in such a way at a carrier (7) that the latter is guided in parallel w.r.t. the bracket behind the mirror (2), and the spring bracket is forced in a straight line alignment, lying parallel to the mirror surface. The wiper blade (3) lies at uniform pressure over its length at the mirror surface.
