The tenon (1) is shaped like a truncated pyramid whose base is set vertical on the side opposite the furniture part. The bore hole is polygonal with its base set vertical and parallel to the side surface inside the furniture part. The tenon slides deep into the hole until wedged together. The heavier the furniture unit the stronger the stability through the weight bearing on the ground. USE/ADVANTAGE- Easier assembly by unskilled personnel. The furniture can be dismantled by knocking the parts in the opposite direction.
